BONITA HOMES SALES FOR APRIL 2010

Bonita is a great community located in the South Bay of San Diego that is not well known (the home owners would like to keep it that way), but extremely popular with its residents.  Bonita is located just north of Chula Vista and south of San Diego, it is one of the few communities where horses are welcome.  Whether you choose to live in high end tract homes ranging from $500,000 to $4,000,000 or sprawling acre size lots, Bonita has it all.

Bonita is made up of many communities such as Bonita Downs, Bonita Fairways, Bonita Glen, Bonita Highlands, Bonita Long Canyon, Bonita Woods, Bonita Woods Park, Emerald Ranch, Lynwood Hills and Ames Ranch.

There are currently 44 detached single family homes for sale in Bonita.  These homes consist of Bank Owned homes, Short Sales and Traditional Sales.

Inventory at this time is considered a bit lower than normal.

From April 1, 2010 to April 30, 2010, 12 homes have sold.  Currently there are 22 homes that are pending (in escrow) and20 homes in “Contingent” status (these are Short Sales—the banks are reviewing the offer/s.  Activity in this area has increased over the last several months.
