Chula Vista June 2010 Housing Update

If you are not familiar with Chula Vista, it is made up of 5 zip codes and is the 2^nd largest city in San Diego County with a population of 229,000.  The zip codes are 91910,91911,91913,91914, and 91915.  The Western portion of Chula Vista is comprised of 91910 and 91911 and is located West of the 805 freeway.  These homes were built between the 1920’s and 1970’s (generally speaking) and the Eastern portions of Chula Vista are made up of 91913, 91914 and 91915 and were built from the mid 1990’s to the present.  

Some of the main Subdivisions in the Eastern portion of Chula Vista include Eastlake Hills, Eastlake Trails, Eastlake Greens, Eastlake Vistas, Eastlake Shores, Eastlake Woods, Otay Ranch, Rolling Hills Ranch, Rancho Del Rey, Sunbow, Windingwalk, and San Miguel Ranch. Most of the new subdivisions are Master Planned Communities designed for families.  These homes are located close to walking trails, parks, schools, community centers and shopping.
