Eastlake is located in Eastern Chula Vista—91915.  Eastlake  is a Master Planned Community that is extremely family friendly.  Most of the homes built in Eastlake Trails are close to lakes, schools, shopping, parks, and walking trials.  Homes in Eastlake were built from the 1990’s to 2005.

For the last 11 years running, the San Diego Union-Tribune newspaper’s annual reader’s poll has named the master-planned development of Eastlake as the area’s Best New Home Community.  Today, the development is comprised of 3,200 acres and more than 1,100 acres of parks, athletic fields, a golf course, hiking trails and a 21.5-acre lake.

Currently, there are a total of 88 homes for sale in Eastlake.  There are 94 homes that are in “Contingent” status, which means the bank is reviewing the offers that were made to the seller.  In order to be in Contingent status, the property is most likely a Short Sale.  What is a Short Sale?  This is when the owner owes more than they can sell it for on the open market.  There are currently 79 homes in escrow (Pending status-- the buyer and seller have agreed upon terms and price and are now in escrow).  There have been a total of 40 properties that sold in May 2010. 

The statistics above can change from day to day.  Eastlake  is a very desireable community and if you are a buyer looking in this area, you need to have an aggressive FULL TIME Real Estate agent looking for property every day—7 days a week.
