Eastlake is located in Eastern Chula Vista—east of the Interstate 805 freeway.  Eastlake is made up of 6 total subdivisions (these subdivisions are Master Planned Communities that are extremely family friendly).  Most of the homes built in Eastlake are close to lakes, school, shopping, parks, trails and community centers.  The subdivisions are called Eastlake Hills, Eastlake Trails, Eastlake Greens, Eastlake Vistas, Eastlake Shores and Eastlake Woods.  All of Eastlake is located in the 91915 zipcode.  Most of the homes located in Eastlake were built from the 1990’s to 2008.

For the last 11 years running, the San Diego Union-Tribune newspapers annual reader’s poll has named the master-planned development of Eastlake as the area’s Best New Home Community.  Today, the development is comprised of 3,200 acres and more than 1,100 acres of parks, athletic fields, two golf courses, hiking trails and a 21.5-acre lake.

Currently, there are a total of 65 detached homes for sale in all of Eastlake.  There are 91 homes that are in “Contingent” status, which means the bank is reviewing the offers that were made to the seller.  In order to be in Contingent status, the property is most likely a Short Sale.  What is a Short Sale?   A Short Sale is when the owner owes more than they can sell the property for on the open market.  There are currently 69 detached homes in Eastlake in "Pending" status, which mean the property is sold and they are in escrow.  There have a total of 48 properties that have sold since Jan. 1, 2010.
