Our season is from July to June. We hold an annual banquet with awards in August.
The 2014-2015 season will be announced in March 2014.

It's Just Sex

With the kids away, three married couples get together for an evening of relaxation and laughs. But as the liquor flows and secrets are revealed, trust is tested and boundaries are broken. It’s Just Sex is a comedic and thought-provoking look at fi delity, lust, communication, and what it really takes for a marriage to survive and thrive. By the end of the evening, what should have been just an innocent party turns into an event that changes all three relationships forever.

Logan Heights
Dahlia is a 28-year-old dreamer, a recent college graduate without a job forced to move back to her parents’ house after a break up with her boyfriend. In this San Diego Premiere, Latina playwright, Josefina López (Real Women Have Curves) crafts a masterful dramatic comedy that explores immigration, Latina identity, and San Diego’s own Logan Heights.
The Violet Hour
It's April 1st, 1919, and the young independent publisher John Pace Seavering is setting up his office: a couple of dilapidated rooms in a romantic Manhattan tower. A machine of mysterious provenance and purpose has arrived and is spewing out stacks of pages while John’s hapless assistant, Gidger, strives vainly to stem the fl ood. What’s written on these pages will throw John’s every hope and plan into disarray.
AND A SPECIAL YEAR-END SHOW (NOT PART OF THE REGULAR SEASON):
The Scientology Pageant
A jubilant cast of children celebrate the controversial religion in uplifting pageantry and song. The actual teachings of The Church of Scientology are explained and dissected against the candy-colored backdrop of a traditional nativity play.
The Fox on the Fairway
Another madcap farce from Ken Ludwig, author of “Lend Me a Tenor.” Henry Bingham, manager of the Quail Valley Country Club, is sure his team will finally win the annual competition with rival Crouching Squirrel Country Club. But his counterpart, the devious Dickie Bell, has more than one trick up his sleeve.
.
Little Voice
Little Voice has a hidden talent: she can emulate every chanteuse from Judy Garland to Edith Piaf. She hides in her room, crooning and dreaming of love, while her disheveled mother mistakes a seedy agent’s interest as affection rather than enthusiasm for the gold mine buried in her daughter’s throat. An engaging fairy tale of despair, love and finally hope as Little Voice finds a voice of her own.
Nine to Five
Pushed to the boiling point by their boss, three female co-workers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot they call their boss. They conspire to take control of their company and learn there’s nothing they can’t do -- even in a man’s world.
