Eucalyptus Park Skate Plaza — Former Len Moore Skatepark
The former Len Moore Skatepark area is part of Eucalyptus Park in Chula Vista. The park is currently undergoing a major renovation, and the old skatepark information on this page is no longer current.
Current Status
The City of Chula Vista began major renovation work at Eucalyptus Park in March 2025. The lower portion of the park is closed during construction, while Menzel Field on the upper level remains available for public use.
The City currently estimates construction completion in late 2026.
New Skate and Scooter Plaza
The renovation plan includes a new skate/scooter plaza along with a bike skills plaza and jump area, new playground equipment, pickleball courts, fitness equipment, walking paths, dog-park improvements and additional parking.
