What contributor profiles may include
- Name and public biography
- Neighborhood or local connection
- Areas of interest or reporting beats
- Published ChulaVista.com work
- Photography, video or data contributions
- School, professional or community affiliation when the contributor chooses to disclose it
- Portfolio or professional links when appropriate
Participation in the directory is optional. Contributors may choose how much personal information they make public, and ChulaVista.com will not publish private contact information without permission.
Why we maintain this directory
Bylines should mean something. A public contributor profile gives readers context about who created the work and gives contributors a durable record of their participation. For students and emerging professionals, it can also serve as a living portfolio of real community work.
