Chula Vista | November 7, 2026. Olympian High School is the host venue for all five CIF San Diego Section girls flag football championship games on Saturday, giving South Bay sports fans a chance to watch the season’s title matchups close to home.
Saturday’s championship schedule
- 10 a.m. — Division IV: Imperial vs. Oceanside.
- Noon — Division III: Patrick Henry vs. Santa Fe Christian.
- 2 p.m. — Division II: Vincent Memorial vs. Escondido Charter.
- 4 p.m. — Division I: Cathedral Catholic vs. Scripps Ranch.
- 6 p.m. — Open Division: Helix vs. Torrey Pines.
A South Bay stage for the sport
The local Star-News reports that seven Metro Conference teams reached this year’s playoffs, although none advanced to Saturday’s finals. Hosting the championships at Olympian nevertheless gives area families and younger players an opportunity to experience the growing sport’s top regional competition.
